Bobbed valve question

I'm thinking about picking up a bobbed valve from ASP
ASP Online Store: Phantom Bobbed Valve Body w/ Dual Gauge Ports

My question is this:
The site says "Punisher's latest batch of bobbed valve bodies adds a third 1/8 NPT port to the left side of the valve - run a gauge off the back, off the left side (Desert Fox style), or even run your air on the left side of the gun."
Just to make sure, the bobbed valve has 3x 1/8 NPT ports? One on the right, left and back, correct?

Yep thats how it is... Buy that valve body ,I had one of the old one and their just great.

Obviously the one in the rear is usually for the guage but the new ones you can put the guage on the left side like a " fox " and plug up the rear port and the air comes in from the right side for the standard hardline.

Can I put the airline on the left side?

One more question, can I still get shootdown problems with a bobbed valve running an HPA source?

Nope its actually designed to get more shots out of a 12gram then the standard valve body.. Using Hpa you should see no effects whats so ever.

Maybe. The bobbed valve body has less volume than the regular one so if you were experiencing shootdown with the stock valve body you might run into trouble.

If your using a unregulated Hps tank with an out put of 800 or more you will have no problems as that's the operating pressure of the phantom (+/-)
