Phantom help

Okay,so i got my phantom today and myself and MacWhorter tested it and its having some issue's. If i tryed to AT fast it gets messed up and starts to leak down the barrel from the valve like it would when its out of air, However when i cock it again it stops it wont get many shots on a 12 g ethier and my springs are good from what MacWhorter told me so i dont really know what to do i have funds from the other owner that i got it from who says he'll fund the repair so what should i get? Im thinkin cuoseal setup and all new seals and orings ? any ideas? Also my vlocity is fine to from what i can tell

check to make sure the cupseal is screwed in all the way. AT will lower you shot count down quite a bit.

New or used Phantom? Was this outside in colder temperatures? Which 12g cartridges?

Clean the outside of the powertube (especially the flange that touches the valve face)and the valve face (some times sticky crud builds up in there and can act like glue holding the valve open).

Are you using the stock CCI springs ? If not, try throwing the regular silver CCI set of springs in. My Phantom has been running on the springs it came with since 2001 and it'll do 12grams, CO2 tanks and HPA just fine with minor velocity adjustments. Other springs are generally not needed with Phantoms.

just stock springs i think half the problom was i was using like 691 bore paint with a 679 insert thus using a hell of alot of air to shoot it on a 12 g but its not the whole issue
