Cause of abnormally loud Phantom?

an abnormally loud phantom?

ive tried a few different spring setups ranging from soft to hard, and its still loud as heck.

its a stock VSC with freak bored barrel and rainman kit.

its also loud with the freak back and stiffi tip.

any ideas?

HPA or CO2? the only thing I know of that will cause that is running air

Boring out the TPC will make it louder.

Indeed. I find Phantoms to sound rather loud when firing them, but they have a nice soft 'thud' when you are not the one behind the trigger.

I find that my phantom gets a bit louder if I go above 270fps. It's all stock and I just keep mine down at about 260 and it has that soft thud noise like idkfa was talking about.
