phantom rear bucket changer

hi all

i just made this thing. what do you guys think?
took my phantom back bottle adaptor

and made it so it looks a little differend.

rear bucket changer
havn't got the time to test it, and its not fully finished. need to make a tap for the puncture pin because i don't want to buy the tap (they are a bit pricey).

yeah me 2. maybe i will make the tap i need tomorow if i can find the piece of material i cant find or else i have to wait a bit longer.

1 question, in the airport of the back bottle adaptor there is a piece of very hard steal? why? broke 1 insert of my lathe tool (i'm shure this isn't the correct translation) on it because i thought it would be a bit softer.

carbide will break if you feed it too abruptly into the material but on aluminum you can feed pretty aggressively.
carbide and ceramic dont like any kind of shock
smacking into a piece of hard steel thinking it was aluminum would definitely do it but idk what would be in it like that
P.S. its very nice looking

Will it work having the rear bucket changer horizontal vs. at a downward angle? I assume the downward angle is to keep liquid CO2 (not sure how much would be in a 12 gram) out?

Very Nice!

Well I know my dropout valved phantom worked exceedingly well, and that's horizontal.

i'd read somewhere that a dropout was the most efficient valve for a phantom. that 1 of the reasons i made it.

i have tried to make my phantom more efficient and have found that my dropout gets less shots then my back bottle and bucket changer. i just got the lapco #6 power tube and a new hammer. going to try and trim some weight off the hammer and see if that works. my old hammer got mid 40s on the back bottle/bucket changer combo and all i did was polish the crap out of those brass internals. kinda wish i hadnt sold it but had to try and get into the sniper game.

you want 34 grams for the hammer or as close to,but not lighter, red or = to valve spring, yellow or = to main spring, but cupseal experimenting is a must.

hope that makes sense

taz22 looks nice but can you get a good grip on it?
