Try removing the front o-ring on the bolt. If the gun fires fine after you remove it, it means the old o-ring has swollen and isn't allowing the bolt to travel completely forward.

Is there an image somewhere that shows the inside of the trigger frame? Maybe something is missing inside of it to trip the sear?
I just got this yesterday and this is my first experience with a phantom.
