Side fed phantom

Hey guys. So I'm going to do project and make a side fed phantom. I'm looking to get a rf body to start it. It would be easier since the hole is more near the right. But can I break off the feedneck? Or would I have to cut it off?

i think he is meaning straight up side feed, more of a 90* angle rather than the 30*

Cutting or grinding it off is probably your best bet.

You could just ask CCI if they have any available, or if they could make one. I'd start there.
