I meant the hammer and valve springs, but you can also get a reg rebuild kit if your reg is goofy.

Edit: Talfuchre is right - you should never need a reg rebuild kit unless the reg has been really abused.

Honestly, in all the years I have worked on and shot CCM markers I have never had to rebuild one in the sense that I needed to replace pistons or springs. I have replaced a few o-rings in my time, but those are rare, and only if they leak, overpressure, or creep.

You need a reg tester to see much of these symptoms - and get a couple of o-rings to fix the majority of the problems.

Screw the regulator into the tester, turn on the air to your tank with a line going into the reg - use the slide check to test recharge rate and the like - and go from there.

If it is creeping or not regulating properly - change the top o-ring.

If it is leaking out of the bottom screw - change the piston o-ring.

It really isn't difficult.

Pork, that should work. I think I have the exact same gauge except with the port on the bottom. The 2" gauge is very easy to work with.

A slide check. It is on the end of a Remote System.

Is this tester to test the reg that's screwed on a tank....or the reg on the marker? I need a reg tester so I can determine how much air the reg is outputting..or are they the same thing??

Soo, if I screw in my CP reg...the gauge will read air going into reg correct?? Then if I adjust the reg screw, in or out...will that also show on the Gauge? or, I need to set ,y output pressure from reg to marker at approx. 300..will this REg Tester do that for me. Sorry to sound stupid, but I'm not all that up on all of this...I know a little...just enough to get me by...thanks again..

Yes, but a slide check is a must.
A slide check allows you to vent pressure before your next adjustment/gauge reading. It acts similar to when you shoot.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
