Send a message via AIM to xluben

A slide check is completely unnecessary if you use an on/off ASA that vents. Then you just need two pieces: ASA, gauge

If you have an ASA that vents. Many earlier on/off asa's only vented once the tank was removed.

It has to have a vent hole that works and quickly.

Take the CCM on/off ASA - it vents - but only after you turn the knob of the ASA multiple times.

The slide check makes checking recharge very easy.

A slide check valve is faster, and in my opinion cheaper to attain most of the times.
They're commonly found at any particular PB store. Just check ( ha ha a pun) one out juliano.<<< Is that your name? Like Giuliano?
I know a few of them. They all spawned from a long line of Sicilian freedom fighters. Yea. That for lack of a better word, but you knows what I mean... Capishi?

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
tlane77 He's got a woody for your woods.

yes Screen name is Juliano...I did change it's original spelling..good one. and Yes, also Italian...and thanks to you all for the info...lot of knowledgeable people around here...PBN tends to flame you for asking questions they think everyone should already know the answers. When you do get answers there, it's all in language only techs would understand...Thanks again...

Jumping a tad late on the reg tester bandwagon and decided to revive this thread with a picture:

I find it amusing how I was able to build one of these with parts lying around and it looks exactly like the one in the opening post, right down to the ASA, slide check and brand of gauge :lol

Anyway, I was able to sweet spot my CCM reg in a sinch with this! Now to get a 0-1500 gauge and I'll be golden!
