The barrel thread on the sniper rifle is 7/8-20.

This should be the size for standard muzzel breaks.

Has anybody thought of asking A.Carter

It's tough (at least for me) to get him to make one-off runs. Ironchef or Demonio seem to have direct conversations with him but my impression is that while he will make them he seems reluctant to do so for whatever reason.

That's just my take on the matter which may not be true at all. But whenever a run of Whooshes come up its seems like this is it get it in or never again. They come up quick and go fast.

The barrel threads are different but I'm fairly certain the "can" portion uses the same threads. It wouldn't make sense to change them.

Most whoosh tips like the freak and kaner fronts have male threading so they can go in a barrel back. To work on the SR1, this would require a threaded coupler to fit the male threaded whoosh tip to the male threads on the SR1.

However, the whoosh tip that DSA has for his redux is female threaded to fit on the special redux barrel that is male threaded. So if his tip is 7/8-20 threads it would work with no adapters necessary but anyone with a standard whoosh would need an adapter of some sort for theirs to work.

These posts are beginning to border on dirty pool. I resent your geographical advantage sir.
