I'm having similar issues with my new T2 as well. Hard to chrono to 280 consistently and keep it there.
Possible related issue: after 2-3 hours of play, the action gets "thick" and autotrigger becomes sporadic.
The environment is an uninsulated indoor arena (astroturf - no dirt) - temps around 30 and somewhat high humidity.
Everything works fine next day after gun has been home and re-acclimated - although I have not been able to check the chrono, but it no longer shoots "thick" and the autotrigger magically works again...
I've checked the reg and gauge'd it to 350psi.
The tank is a new geurilla air with the high pressure valve (800+psi out)
Gun is clean in and out.
Just lube'd the bolt with triflow this week, so we'll see how it works friday nite - this is the only new factor the equation for this week.
Paint is matched to barrel w/ freak insert, but not too tight. I'll try a tighter bore this weekend also to see what that does.
Will be watching this thread to see if any solutions are determined.

got my T2 back last week, after a deburring of a burr somewhere in the lower tube it shot rather well over the weekend (ask critical and spyderman) no velocity issues to report.
CCM performed the maintenance check for free, I paid for shipping each way, the turn around time was three weeks with good communication from CCM.
Some people are like slinkies......kinda useless but they do make me smile when pushed down the stairs.
