T2 velocity slips during play

ANyone else have issues with a T2 velocity decreasing after playing for a few hours?

I chrono in the morning around at my near 280fps and by lunchtime I am down to 250-260fps, I am guessing the rear adjuster is winding out. Any solutions?

Could also be a little bit to do w/ temps and paint size changing. I haven't experianced this w/ my T2 but definetly have w/ some other markers. Is there still an o-ring on your IVG?

any paint/debris on hammer = hammer drag, = less force striking the valve stem = less air = less velocity.

If you were catching spray, or sliding in the dirt this could be it.

well... I would assume that the temperature (warm) would cause the balls to swell?

I have the opposite problem. As the day gets warmer, my paint gets larger and my velocity increases from the tighter bore/paint match. I slip a larger insert in the DW and velocity is lowered. I think the dirt/debris theory sounds right.

Yeah. I would test this. Check three things. Blow through test and see how tight the paint is then check it again at lunch. Set your IVG and then see how many turns in from the vanity cap it is - reset it and then test at lunch. It could be your reg pressure backing out. Check your pressure after you have set it in the morning and then at lunch.

I don't feel it is the weather - unless it gets less humid and-or less humid. I also think it is improbable that it is the regulator backing out. Further, unless the o-ring is missing from the IVG - it is probably not that. If it is the IVG replace the o-ring and make sure it is slightly stiff when you adjust the IVG.

If this is all not it. Dirty hammer may be the culprit.
