86* Frame Trigger Pin Question

Hey guys,
I have a J2 Cocker with the CCM 86* hinge frame. I need to adjust the top set screw so my trigger pin does'nt keep sliding out. I was just wondering what the best way to do this is? Do you tighten it just enough that it barely touches the trigger pin but provides some resistance, or is it safe for me to just snug it down pretty good so I know the pin won't move out at all?

Thanks!

I'm a little confused. My 86 hinge frame is a screw that is the trigger pin. Do you have a 86 slider frame? In which case the sear pin slides in and out. In any case, I would only snug it down slightly more then is needed to keep the pin in place. A little bit of blue loctite might help also.
