main spring question

so i recently bought a ccm'd pump
and i noticed that the main spring is alot heavier then
the previous pump that i had

so im assuming that the series 6 main spring is different and is lighter then the ccm internals kit that is sold seperatly from ccm?

are you totally sure that the new pump has official ccm internals as well as springs. there may be a difference in the return springs as well which would add to the tension on the pump stroke.

yes..i took it apart to swap bodies..

only reason why im questioning this is bc i have a friend's j2l right now and it feels very similar..the springs are same length and both have same tension..

The main spring is the same for the S6 and lower tube kit.
