T2 LP modifications - humor me

if i were to replace the valve in the T2 with an AKA Tornado, lighter valve/main springs, and possibly a lighter hammer, would i be able to get the T2 to operate optimally (i.e. without sacrificing efficiency) between the 200-220psi range? ultimately, i'd like to lower the operating pressure in order to quiet the marker. perhaps there's an air-assist cocker valve out there paired with a lighter spring/hammer combo that could help?

Can I just have you trust me and say: don't.

It already shoots at 300 - 350 - the springing is without rival. Leave it alone.

what outcome could i expect by doing nothing except swapping the valve with an AKA Tornado?

lol i like the responses. i just swapped the valve in my s6.5 with a Belsales EVO (eclipse supercharger is the same) valve. shooting at the same velocity as before i was able to lower that reg pressure by 3 turns or so (not sure of the exact output) gun is much quieter now just the way i like it.

Shadow... Did you sacrifice any efficiency when you did that?

Just out of curiosity.

not sure yet going to take the gun out on the 12th and see what happens. i run a 48/45 on it and have all day air so it doesnt matter a whole lot to me. I will keep an eye on it though and let you guys know what happens

My friend runs a aka valve and both springs in his S6. The marker sounds like crap and gets really bad efficiency. He claims the shot is flatter but I think my freeflow with ccm internals shoots just as straight. Also, the barrel that you use can make a difference in the markers sound signature.

Keep in mind, a Nelson valve spring will make your shots hook left, due to how they're wound.

that's a wives tale... they give the balls backspin...
