The panel material (Delrin) is the same on CCM frames either with a 45 or 86.

The .86 frame is what I prefer for pump guns...but for electro and mech I like .45 frames.

i understand that, my point moreso was the panels on the 86 look like part of the finished product, where as the delrin panels that come on the 45 frame look alot more like spd, darksoul, insert company-thats-making-money-off-of-sticking-art-to-the-inside-of-clear-pieces-of-plastic-shaped-to-match-your-grip frame here

i hate plastic grips, i remember the original matrix grips, i remember how they were made of pewter... i remember how everyone complained because they couldnt get a good grip on their gun when their hands got sweaty

and now people WILLINGLY put these things on their markers.. do plastics have more grip traction over pewter?

now mind you, i said "reminds me of" because at least your guys panels have some form of checkering...
i just dont think any gun looks complete until there is rubber on the grip frame (that was the "item id have to purchase" thing i was referring to)

My s6 has a 45 frame on it and I now wish it had an 86. I say this because my tank is tiny so naturally I have to keep the gun close to my body. The angle of where i hold the gun in relation to my body and how i've been playing lately would be perfect for the 86 frame. for some reason I've been staying low and bending back alot lately. but the 45 frame is a pain because its countering the way my hands are oriented. Really you need to play to see whats right for you.

I personally love the 86 frame especially with a pair of hogue grips, just feels natural. I do have a 45 on the j2l I just ordered so I will have to see how it compares.

I find that using the 86* frame forces my elbows in to a tighter position as opposed to a 45*, and a bit less forgiving on the wristas well. Strange, considering that the 86* is more common on hand guns as opposed to rifles.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
