CCM regulator fitting position

Hi everyone

Where is the fitting suppose to be position on a CCM regulator?

So far every photo i have seen the fitting look like this:

Where it is on the side of the marker or toward the back side. However on mine, the fitting after twisting on the regulator actually position it self toward the front of the marker. Is there anyway i can position it so that the fitting is toward the back? The regulator was only hand tighten onto the marker.

Thanks

mine is roughly in that position but on the other side of the marker lol.

Try adding an oring and then put the reg on, this may bring the reg down just that slight bit that leave the fitting closer to the rear but keeps the seal needed?

the reg should still seal even if its not screwed in all the way.

The fitting on my J2L was originally positioned in the front too.

I eventually bought one of the newer style reg tops (so the fitting is below the trigger guard) and it conveniently worked out being positioned towards the rear.

It's all luck of the draw I guess.
I think I remember someone mentioning using clips available from Ninja.
They're plastic clips normally used as a shim on the tank reg so you can kind of position where the fill nipple/gauge of the tank sits when screwed in.

The reg does not need to be fully tightened to seal but the clips will help let you hand-tighten it and still adjust the positioning.

Use an o-ring on it - and put it UNDER the trigger guard. That is how I do mine.

I have the fitting also under the trigger guard on my T2 and S6 (new model with longer asa) without any additional o-ring.

Mine is directly under the front of the trigger frame. Perfect position I would say.

I don't think the position is really that big of a deal as long as the regulator is sealed. Mine is on the opp. side of the out let on the on off seems to allow for a freer feel on the line. Just how i like mine, just set it up to how you like it.

This is correct. You donít need to use an addtional O-Ring.
