removing ccm feedneck

i got a new feedneck the other day, and when i tried to remove my standard ccm feedneck, it wouldnt budge on me at all. the only advice i have gotten is heat it up or put it in a vice. anyone have any different method of taking it of? i feel like an idiot posting this up but i dont want to snap something off or what not. this is on a s6.5

Heat + strap wrench. I know my S6 had red loctite on the feedneck and the only way that is going to come off is with heat.

grab a halo/reloaderb/vlocity/egg/rotor and clamp it down tight the twist off. best way to not screw up the feedneck.

Would you really trade back a beer for a used rubber?

This is the best way to go about it. If you have any questions stop and give us a call in the morning, we can walk you through the process. Thanks!

Dude I wrapped it in some hockey tape and just used ridiculous amounts of arm strength to unscrew it. I had sweat beading up on my upper lip.

I use a little bit of blue loctite just in case I want to switch it out again. Mine stays in place fine and has so for almost a year now.
