Are you set on a 45? I shot 45 forever, then I used a 86, and all my guns been 86 since. I have been even swapping out my old 45's. Just a thought.....

I'm pretty grip-agnostic; most of my guns still have Sheridan compatible frames.

But when a teammate handed me his skinny-45'd T2, I almost dropped it because it felt so icky. I like the standard/fat 45 MUCH better.

Actually... I have one like this, and I like it. While I prefer the standard sized frames, I can't knock this set up.

It's comfortable set up like that.

Even with the Hogues, I feel like the thin is just too thin. See if you can track down both options to try them out before you make a decision.

The body milling on the 6.5 lends itself better to the standard frame IMO. The thin frame doesn't look as nice and if you want a slightly thinner grip on the standard frame, go with some thin panels, the stock delrin grips are actually quite nice. I am 6'1, 200lbs w/, I would say average sized hands for my size and the regular 45 is very comfortable, I had a thin on my T2 and wanted it thicker so I put some Sticky3's on it. Even if I prefered the thin, on the 6.5 I would get the regular width so the milling all matched up nicely.

My question to the owners are what frame do you have and how do you like it? I am 6'1 200lbs. i dont think my hands are small however, they arent enormous. So to the "bigger" guys out there, what do you guys use/ prefer?
I have a thin gripped 45 on my T2 and a standard on my S5 and really prefer the thin. I am 6'1 and 210, but have small hands (I can't palm a basketball) and with a set of Dye Sticky grips on the thin frame, it is perfect!

The thin with Stickey3s on His T2 is a beautiful set up... I have been trying to track down the same for my markers since i held that set up in my hand, it was a perfect fit
