Consensus on t2's breach inserts?

So I'm starting the process to order a T2 and I would like to know peoples experience with the t2's with breach inserts. A local gun tech said they help prevent the funny spin some balls get when they contact the lip of the barrel while being shot. Can anyone confirm or deny this? He seems to know his stuff

Is there really an advantage to this stystem over the traditional CCM barrel kit? Or is it about the same?

Any input from peeps who have tried both would be really appreciated!

The breach inserts and the standard CCM barrel backs do the same thing.
1. prevent roll outs
2. guide the ball down the barrel for a straight flight.

The breach inserts allows you to use any barrel you want with the gun and still avoid roll outs. Personally I have always been a fan of the CCM barrel kit. Also, since I have a lot of cocker threaded guns, I can use my CCM kit on those guns. Finally, the S6.5 doesn't have the insert kit as an option is that made me go with the CCM barrel kit.

i have both, as t2 with the sizer kit and a t2 with the insert style top tube. there is no perfromance difference, but the insert kit looks about and bad ase as it gets and i like being able to use whatever barrel i want.

on any cocker, the ball is inside the barrel when shot...spin on the lip is not possible

Currently the barrel sizers offer smaller sizes vs. the body inserts...it is CCM, you really can't go wrong!

Mine shot great all weekend. Two different sizes of paint, two different states of roundness. The smaller less round paint didn't shoot well, but it didn't roll out either. It was also extremely small if it rolled down the breach in the right manner. A friend was using a reball freak insert with the small stuff if that tells you anything. The better of the two paints shot awesome all day long.

I got one of the first ones at Living Legends last May - I love being able to use whatever barrel I want - though the stock barrel itself is pretty amazing anyway.

Wow I really like that with the stiffi on there! I had in my mind planned on using a DW null barrel but just picked up a urban camo stiffi this week for a good price... I may have to hold onto this one long enough to use it on a t2.

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...
