Bought a S6 and have a question

I just picked up a used S6 yesterday. The Serial # is S6B 026. This is my question. As I look at pictures of these pump guns I usually see that where the regulator screws in to the marker it a two piece mount. My S6 is one piece in this area. What is the difference and is there anything that I need to know about owning this assumed older style of the S6?

Actually any tips for this type of marker would be appreciated.

Just the type of marker the S6 is. No difference between the rest except it is one piece and can not be swapped. Very nice marker man!

The one piece body/ASA is the newest style of S6.

Thanks Man, I picked it up for $375.00. It seemed like a good deal. It came with a 13ci tank, winchester hopper and a CP .682 two piece. I think I did OK.

For 375...nice! Best deal I've gotten was a used rotor for 85 bucks. :/

Now I have to learn to shoot it. Shot some Evil through a .679 freak in a Deadlywind barrel today. It was quite surprising. Super quiet and seems really consistent. Still gonna take some learning.

Take care of it and it will do the same for you. The S6 is the most consistent gun I've owned. I haven't seen worse than +/- 2.

They used to use a smaller blank for the S6 body - and make a more standard 'Cocker' bodied S6 - this facilitated making a VRA (Vertical Regulator Adaptor) for the body.

At one point they decided to make the VRA integral to the body (with removes another seal that can fail and strengthens the attachment to the regulator and the body. It makes for a longer milling process and a larger blank to begin with - but it sure looks good when it is done!
