OK, borrowed this gun off a friend. Will only "pop" when shot indicating not enough air. He insists it shot previously. What I have done: Changed ASA's Changed Reg's Tried another one of my tanks (both HP output) IVG all the way in, and out Adjusted both regs through their range (both CP) Valve seems to open pretty easily when de-gassed but it just doesnt seem that the hammer is hitting the valve hard enough. Aside from re-springing it.. Any ideas? Am I missing something?

Might try and see if the rear grip frame screw is protruding too far into the lower tube preventing the main spring from moving the hammer to hit the valve stem. Take off the IVG, remove the current spring, and see if it is. Good luck.

do you have a reg tester to check what your reg's output pressure is? and are you using a super underbore? i know that sounds weird, but my barrel caused the velocity to drop drastically one time. shooting .693 swelled paint out of a .678 does not go over well....

In addition to what has already been tried, do you have a valve tool? What kind of valve do you have? CCM? See if the valve jam nut is loose and has turned out. Big difference in how much the valve stays open. |
