I need to make this!

Honestly I never really paid that much attention to your avatar (just thought something seemed odd) but now I see it. The Wampa and the Ton Ton very clever. Makes perfect sense now just can't believe it took me so long.

I really like the idea of bottom mag but understand it's not for this project (still holding onto hope for super cool SR1). That being said left side for me. I really like the tiberius mags I have never personally used the T4 but agree with tangus999 on principle. I have however used the .1 series mags and they are bullet proof... I have never had any feed issues with them even when firing upsidedown.

And just an fyi the bolt on the Tiberius markers is beveled to both help scoop up and center the first strike rounds, and to not catch/break the next round in the stack.

Edit: Just a little more fyi. The Tiberius mags require a small amount of "break in." a couple drops of oil on the spring and some use will clear up the binding issue when trying to engage the spring catch.. You do however have to be somewhat careful not to let the follower slam too hard as sometimes breakage can happen especially with the stiffer red spring. The good news is that you dont need to bother with the spring catch when loading first strikes, they are sturdy, and once you get the eighth round in it will latch for you.

I did have to be corrected on that when I was in Cadets and I first went to the range. I thought the two were synonymous until I was firing the antiquated stuff we were given and was informed of the difference.

..... but it's still funny!
So which one of you guys are gonna tell the Full Clip fellas to change their name?

They might be a few clips short of a full mag...

Only a T2 can do that.

You don't want T4 mags for this project. They are enormous.

The biggest problem I would have with using T8 or T4 mags is you have the gas system taking up space and weight for no reason whatsoever. As long as they work, the TPX mags would be a much better way to go.

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

I wouldn't mind using his mags, but that would mean it would take longer for me to get me hands on this

an idea if bill does end up designing his own mags, why not make it banana clip style.. the issue is with the front of the round falling down, why not make a curved mag that orients the round in the breech correctly, because all the rounds in the stack are arranged in a curve

plus side to this is that 10 rounds wouldn't stick out from the gun as far as they would in the straight line style like a tpx mag
