if the hammer has a hole drilled in the back for a cocking rod then you can put it in an electric drill and spin it with some super fine steel wool and mother's aluminum polish. that is how i polish my internals since i dont have a polishing wheel. to polish the pump arms i use the same steel wool and mother's polish and just stroke up and down the arm till it gets a good shine. i put that in there for all you gutter minded types so you can through in your jokes.
