SS-25 Diagnosis from Work. Problem here! Look!

I am at work guys so calling CCM now is
not doable.

My SS-25 will vent down the barrel on rare occasion.
Best way to describe the venting is that it is similar to a
'low air' kind of venting sound. Except that it will occur
at 300 psi input pressure. After I fire off about 10 shots
it will stop.

Any ideas?

if the problem persists you may need to put in a heavier valve spring to close the valve after the hammer hits it.

I thought the SS-25's preferred closer to 350psi.

They do Jay. Run it at 350 and forget about it.

I have never seen the need for a heavier valve spring on any CCM marker when run at a proper pressure.

Download the SS-25 manual and check it out.

Also, Are you the original owner?
If not, the previous one might have swapped the stock CCM springs for different ones.
Id check that, and if different, call CCM and get stock springs.

Update:

Re-tuned it, but I do not have a gauge to
read above 300 so I turned it a quarter turn
past after plugging it up. Shot great this weekend.
