rail expanders

I feel like an idiot right now but I cannot get the rail expanders to work- I have them screwed all the way in and the rail is still way to narrow. I know I must be doing something wrong here. Thanks for any help.

Are you sure you screwed them all the way? Sometimes you get a screw that is a bit off or just doesn't want to expand.

I would post a pic. The best thing to do is to keep going and if you're worried, give CCM a call.

Yeah, they are screwed in all the way. I cannot turn the allen wrench at all. they seem to be lined up- they screw in no problem- but they just aren't expanding the rail

try to loosen both, then tighten, do it 4 to 5 times, it will expand, just a bit more force...

I've been cranking it for awhile and still nothing

Call Mel at CCM at 1-877-412-6850. I had to return a mini rail because it was cut wrong. Cranked on it and it still did not fit. Good luck.

Crank the left and right screw 1/2 turn each. I had to repeat mine 4 times before it grabs the asa

I'm cranking it until the allen wrench starts to flex a little. I don't want to wreck the threads or anything.
