yeah I agree.
I understand his point but comparing those two models are apples to oranges
the S5 came out almost a decade earlier and is a full bodied cocker

SS-25s are for the kinda people that would rather have an old willys jeep than a sports car.

I love the simplicity of the SS-25, S5 and S5rf bodies! I will never sell my S5rf it never fails me. It just feels right to me.

Worrpt you hit the nail man! I think ultimately that's what matters too... I've owned some beautiful guns in the past that just didn't feel right in my hands on the field (specifically a Dust Black G7 Angle Fly - w/ every Dust black CP part you could put on it to include a full barrel kit)

No matter how gorgeous it is, if it doesn't feel like an extension of your arm on the field, it's not worth playing with... not to say that it's not worthy of being a wall hanger if you have the money to do so! LMAO... but NO CCM should ever be a wall hanger = blasphemy!

There are WAY less original J2's than any other body, less than the Works, and less than the '03. Chances are you have seen photos of every 04 that exists somewhere on this board.

I'm still kicking myself for not ordering one of the last J2l bodies when they went on special sale. CCM and SALE are not words seen together often...

My own guess is that the J2Ls were just not selling as much as other models, so CCM discontinued it in favor of other, more profitable activities...similar to the decision to hold off on further Karni pump kits made recently. The irony is that now people gouge on J2L's like they weren't/aren't a differently-milled S6.

TL/DR: J2L=Whitney Houston

great googley moogley! What is that B-E-A-utiful Red and Silver creature?!

On topic, I can love the old school body, but I prefer half-blocked so I don't have anything almost hitting my face every time I shoot. And the milling on the newer models isn't just for show, it also cuts down on the overall weight of the marker.
