I was kidding too.
If your valve nut has become loose - follow the manual for pics on this.
Loosen the valve nut retention screw (after taking off the grip frame) - use your valve tool to tighten this valve nut - re-tighten valve nut retention screw. If it doesn't turn - it means it was fine to begin with (likely scenario).
If you continue to get a leak - look into replacing your valve stem assembly - or valve stem o-ring.

yeah, that will get you! BTW, the nut is a standard part since WGP days. Anything your local store has will also work.
The store may also have the specialized valve tool...sounds like you won't be needing one very often, so you could save the $15 or so bucks it costs to buy one.
That said, I use mine all the time! Once you have one, you've got it!
