Series 6 with dual rods

Here is the dual rod set up on a Series 6. Of course it does have the Series 5 back block as there is no S6 DR back blocks.

This would also fit the J2 and the J2L.

Looks great. Can't wait for mine to arrive so i can play dress up with some projects with them. Thinking I may even swap out my customized Chris Cole pin-less bolt on my Gothic project for this and a delrin CCM bolt.

in your opinion is there a performance increase using the dual rods with a deluxe kit (lighter pump stroke, more stable, etc) or is it more of the cool factor? Both are well and good by the way, b/c they sure are sexy!

I doubt it will make much, if any difference, I think its more for a cool factor or just to have something kind of unique. I will test them against my regular CCM kits, but its hard to improve something that is darn near perfect. He mentioned that if it is tight on both rods it will bind so the one rod is kind of just along for the ride, it likely doesn't add much function it is just another rod for people to gaze upon.
