Thanks for all the suggestions. I've just finished cleaning up the tube and hammer. I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see if it worked. You guys rock!

canuckistani- I'm not saying this is the problem but keep in mind that not all on/offs make contact with the reg pin at the same distance. I just bought a bliggity-blackity-black pro swivel reg and when I used it with my Bob Long gear drive, I could not get constant/consistent pressure to my 6.5. When I switched to a PE on/off, I had no problem maintaining pressure. I e-mailed bliggity-blackity-black paintball and found out that they do make a longer valve pin, which should solve my problem.

I thought that as well. But I've had this marker out a few times and never had an issue before. Like I say, I pulled everything apart, cleaned up the hammer and tube, pulled the reg apart just to be sure. We'll check and see tomorrow.

When we were first reporting the "250 FPS Forever" problem - I tested the hammer with lube first - and it was erratic. Sometimes the marker shot fine - sometimes - not. It was terrible in the T2 due to the lighter spring weight.

I used Dow 33 - erratic.
Hater Marmalade - terrible.
Paint on hammer - terrible.

I am willing to bet my Hitman Mod that this was the issue.

Next time post up in the CCM forum - and welcome to the family!
