In my searches for K-frame grips I would get ignored by shooters and grip makers once they found out it was going on a pball gun.

This is too darn funny. Never mention paintball gun in a gun store or you'll get that

This is the same guy that took me shooting with a open sight match team on a 200 yard range. They were using AR's and I had a 22 long. And shot better than they did and they told him not to bring me ever again. Playing paint ball paied off that day.
He used to play a lot but a medical condition stopped that.i thought the sr1 would be perfect for him. But I guess not.
Back in 98 I made him a vm68 exc in to a m16 for him. So he knows about the markers available. I don't know about some people?

Just say air rifle. I found that at least gets a little bit of respect unless you find a gun shop that also sell paintball equipment.

And I never understood that crap ... I get into debates with my boss all the time about the time and money I spend paintballing and I ask him how much he's spent on the 30+ guns he has that do nothing but sit in his gun safe 29 days out of the month. Or how sitting in a tree for 6 hours a day waiting for a deer to wander by is somehow more "sportsmanlike" than shooting non-lethals at someone who can shoot back at you...

This is why I'm afraid to even bother approaching firearm engravers about getting some scroll work done on the brass parts I made for the DSG, because if they cop this kind of attitude I might not be able to politely let it go. It's just one of those things that annoys the living hell out of me.
