CCM T2 Questions.

I have really gotten into liking the CCM T2. So much that I have sold my dangerous power g3 iq, rotor, and my one of my hpa tanks to save up money for the T2. This will be the most I will be paying for a marker all at one time. I do not plan on upgrading this marker or changing it in any way shape or form. I simply want to get this marker and just play paintball and become a better player. With that being said I have some questions.

I want to afford the cheapest price possible which I believe is $525. Now this kit includes, correct me if I am wrong.

$525 Dust Black CCM T2
12 inch barrel
690 barrel sizer
macroline
a iron on sticker
extra macro fitting
barrel sock

I was wondering about the 690 barrel sizer. I have never used or need to use a sizer before in paintball. Most of the paint that I have been buying is either paint from dunhams which is only marbalizer, or field paint. I really have no clue on barrel sizer and I was wondering should I get a different size. Basically what is the cheapest option for this marker. Thank you!

If you're only going to use one size, go with that. It's easier to fit small paint in a big bore than big paint in a small bore. I personally think bore matching is over rated, but with that being said, I do run a 9 piece Techt iFit kit on my S6.5. The thing with CCM markers is that they don't have detents, if you don't size your paint, and only use the .690 then you'll be prone to roll outs unless you wait to cock your marker until it's time to shoot.

It also includes a Hex L wrench kit and a Hex L key.

You dont have to go with black, you can get any combination of colurs you want, the price will be the same, as long as its dusts, and the barrel and sizer is silver or black.

Also, you can swap out the sizer for a more relevant size, if you wish.

ccm markers do have detents

detents stop double feeds

a sizer will stop rollouts

Will CCM sell a T2 for cheaper and not include a barrel/sizer?

It's be nice to get a break on price for not getting a barrel I likely wouldn't use (in love with my BW fibur and SS freak set).

They will sell w/o barrel, but it is not much of a price break.

I have heard (correct me if I am wrong), you can go dusk with gloss highlights and it still falls under the dusk pricing.

I would get a .682 sizer and a 14" barrel. The next useful sizers are 679 and 684. Those 3 sizers will cover most of the paint you shoot. 677 would be my next choice. IMHO, the barrel kit is very nice!

You will have poor results trying to over-bore a closed bolt pump. If the paint is too small, it will roll out the barrel.

You can't go wrong with CCM.

Also, I would recommend the t-grip for the pump and the 86 trigger frame.

a no barrel/sizer option is a $20 discount.

I think he's right on that one... Either way, the CCM barrels are great, personally i would also favor a 14" and a few sizers. But CCM sells sizers separately so you could opt to get the remaining sizers you need later.

I've only had the pleasure once of holding a T2 with 86 frame, but i didnt play with it, the T-handle pump on the other hand is very nice.
