Will you post up video of that barrel shooting? I have never seen one before and I would like to see it in action.

I plan to do a comparison of it between some quieter barrels to show how loud it is. I'll also have a video of this shooting soon

As to how the ram rods barrel sound signature is like, I am going to guess that any 3-4" barrel == to how that barrel sounds.

pretty much but lots of people have asked me before. if you really want to know then just take a 2 piece barrel and use just the back

I like the clean work it looks very good. The only thing I'm not digging is the green pump handle, it really should be blue or an aluminum pump handle.

Who did the anodizing by the way?

I helped test the RamRod and wrote an article on it for Paintball 2 Extremes a long time ago. THe way to quiet them down is to make a small open ended sleeve out of paint absorbent material to slide over the top.

Makes it VERY quiet - sew a little elastic into both ends - and viola - quiet ram rod.

Doesn't stop it from weighing 800 pounds though.

The theory was to sell these to field owners so that they didn't have to worry about cleaning barrels or issuing squeegies...
