So I picked up a s5 yesterday from craigslist. This guy got the gun new and immediately picked up and installed an eblade 2 system on it. He could never get it to fire correctly. He was explaining all the adjustments on the eblade he was doing and couldn't get it always shoot under rapid fire. I gave him 200 bucks, took it home, up'ed the lpr gave the hammer lug an 1/8th turn set it factory medium and boom, a perfectly firing e2'd s5 with less the 15,000 cycles. Thats a good deal right. Couple quick questions for you guys, serial number is s5 2594 a, what feedneck do I need (don't need a tall one anymore) and does ccm still have parts to fix these things since its out production. Also can I still get a ccm trigger frame since the mechanical trigger frame he gave me with it was a wgp. Thx
very nice find, any pics?
I think it's a good price.
E2 and everything else for $200... Hell yeahhhh...
Yes, CCM still has parts.
The feedneck I believe is CCM threaded, because it is the revision designated with the "A"
I'm a fan of the "no-rise" feedneck.
Just pick up a CCM frame, hell, buy the CCM frame, AT kit, and pump... Bammmmm Semi/mech and pump.
Call in to CCM to place an order and just to confirm on the feedneck threading. Enjoy!
GOlly - it is almost like I made a manual for the S5 once:
What feedneck threading is my marker?
CCM uses their own threads for the feedneck on the S6 and S5B. However, on older Series 5 markers they used two different threads. The first Series 5’s were made to take Angel threaded feednecks. Later S5’s were made with CCM threads akin to the S5B and S6. You know you have one of these later S5’s if your serial number ends in ‘A’. If you just have numbers – it is angel threaded.
Check the stickies... ;)
Whoa I thought MCB had safeguards against double posting. TF must be a ****ign wizard or something.
What double posting? ;)
I asked the same question to Mel awhile back. They do not make any slide trigger frames any longer, so if you want a CCM frame for an autococker, you'll have to find a used one on here if you can. CCM makes pump frames though. Give them a call............!
Like Mitch said, no-go on the frame, sorry about that.... but man, that is a smokin’ deal on that gun.
Lies... lies and lying liars!!!!! ;)
It was actually a bug - I reported it - and Carter fixed it. I felt so cool reporting a bug! ;)
