New Vegas style! I think some wood furniture one one of these would look pretty badass, no?

I'm just waiting to see what people come up with. What works, what doesn't work, what looks good to me and what doesn't. So far they look really good.

I looked into that. Way pricey. Also, we've discussed trying to get triangular hand guard caps to work.

Really? I found laminate wood sets for $150.

For a full set, I'd say that's a pretty solid deal. I do remember the discussion of triangular handguards coming up, but I don't remember what the final verdict on it was.

$150 is pricey! But I have an A2 stock already and hand guards can be had for $20ish.

As for the cap, I'm going to send some to Bill to see what he can do.

BAH!

MagPul stuff will run me even more money, as opposed to some classy wood. The MOE foregrip, pistol grip, and UBR stock will set me back $320 before shipping.

I'm pretty willing to give the wood a shot for that big of a difference. Half the cost, double the classy!

I'm thinking the same thing, only I think I'll be using a tubular free-floating handguard and just leave the wood for the grip and stock.

Ordered my furniture. A Magpul MOE furniture kit for $120 shipped, in FDE, complete with buffer tube assembly. Almost ordered sights but i am gonna wait to see how the gun feels before i do sights. I may try tocmake my own sights, I want something with a very open sight path, no small keyholes to look through for me.
