You'll need the full barrel nut assembly.
  • Barrel Nut
  • Delta Ring
  • Weld Spring
  • Barrel Snap Ring

THE-SHOOTIST Anyone chubbin' like me for this?
mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

Not sure what you're getting at Splattttttt... How are we supposed to compare virtual sights on virtual guns with virtual recoil to real sights on actual paintball guns with no recoil?

I am also putting together stuff for a real AR build. What tools would i need to make installation easier? I am probably gonna get the same MOE furniture for my real AR build too.

They're talking about COD. I've shot all of those types of sights and they're not the same. Most Red Dots and Holo sights don't have any level of magnification, but you can add a magnifier behind it. However, those sights are intended for CQB fighting, not long range. I, personally, prefer Holo sights, but Red Dots are great too.

What I like about a Holo sight is, once you zero it, you can lay your heard anywhere and the dot is always on the target. It's a MUCH quicker acquisition of the target than standard iron sights.

How much of the build are you wanting to yourself? Completed Upper, Stripped Lower and LPK?

I would recommend an AR Armors tool (DPMS), a set of Roll Pin punches and possibly a stock tool depending in the type of stock you're wanting (not sure what laws are up there). Some tape is useful to protect the finish of the gun.

The holo is intended for use with a magnifier of some sort since its true parallax free. The red dot isn't but at the ranges its intended for it won't matter. If you not going to use aagnifier the holo is a waste of money IMO. Iron sights are very versatile pd course you have to worry about mask clearence. And I find a red dot draws my eye better

I have my lower done already, DPMS with a Stag LPK. I need an upper and furniture still. I am debating on building or buying an upper, i will probably just buy one complete, thinking about 6.5 grendel right now. I am just curous what tools specific to AR assembly and maintenance i would need? I see a few different fore end/shroud removal tools, i am going to be ordering a buffer tube castle nut wrench but would like to get everything i need in one shot. I will probably get the Magpul MOE furniture to match the stuff i have for the SR1 now.
