Plus you have the satisfaction of knowing you made that shot with some element of "skill". Anyone can walk a trigger to some extent. But a bolt action, FSR shooting, rail adjusting, one shot plinking, distance guaging shot? Priceless  Better yet if its recorded for everyone to see....lmao... Quote:

You can really be a paintball sniper but you have to learn your rifle and your projectile. This is a major skill gun.Luck is no longer a skill set.

Let me re-phrase that. When people wipe or don't acknowledge a firststrike shot, it makes me want to kick them in the butt. I refuse to admit what I have spent on firststrikes and markers to shoot them over the past couple of years. Check out pictures of my field; those towers and second story buildings are cool in a normal game, but just nasty when using first strikes. It's fun to be able to reach out and touch someone who thinks that they are out of range. Even better when they start to dance/ wave at ya and you thump them with a firststrike. ( Sometimes in the inner thigh, sorry Melkson.) It's quite a feeling to see a whole re-insert at a scenario scurry to the other side of the field cuz you are whistling firststrikes by them. |
