Nope, the down angle only helps with optics and first strikes.

What kind of numbers is everyone getting? I didn't chrono it, but I was getting 36 before fall off. 37 was when I noticed it, 38 went about 75% as far as all previous shots. 39 about half as far and 40 just sort of plopped out.

I get great shots even the very last one.but I also did my own internal work already to the reg and valve assembly.

And the rail is NOT mounted wrong. I must say this marker does not follow what everyone has learned about paintball trajectory.

Hey Bill,
What are the measurements on the step bored in the barrel for the shells? It looks to be about 1/4" but what about the ID? I'd measure myself but don't have calipers.

I ask b/c I'm trying to figure out the best way to go for a couple custom barrels.

Just cut a 1/4" off the small end of the shell. Then you don't have to modify your barrel.

I can do a couple for you to try out.

It really look like your rail is pointing too far up. Do fsr have that much rise when they fire? I thought we wanted to angle down...

Okay I'm lost. I thought we wanted to angle the optics down like the adjustable risers.

Ugh....ok if you raise the scope off the barrel you need the adjustabe killjoy ect. Due to the hight. What your mind says should work, Doesn't. Always work how logic tells yea.
I always think of paintball as arched ball launchers. Not bullets.
It's going to be trial and error for each of us. I've done some modification to my internals. So yes mine uses a slightly simple set up.i get way more shots per 12g than what I'm seeing you guys are saying.(no I'm not telling of what was done don't ask me what I've done to it I did things that some of you would never attempt to a new prototype it's R+D.) my marker defiantly shoots different than when I got it.
You won't fully know what will work for you till you actually go play with it. Trust me.
