I'm pretty sure JT's ARE Lelands.... I definitely remember Simon saying that the ER2's were shipping with Lelands.

I know they look the same. Just hoping its not the case as Lelands are much better quality than Crosmans.

You can also try dropping a dime or something similarly sized into the bottom of the changer cap to shim it up a little. I think Lelands tend to be slightly shorter than most of the other brands, and that might compound the issue. If the SR1's are using CCI pierce pins (haven't taken it apart but that's what they appear to be) the seals on those tend to be on the hard side, I normally remove the stock seals and superglue in black buna o-rings because they're softer and therefore seal easier.

We have been shooting Leland's exclusively in ours. JT 12g are not Leland's as far as I know. They are low grade and they do not pierce well in this gun. I have been getting around 30 shots on a Leland with the reg sweet spotted.

Yep, those are JTs. Not sure if the shim will help. I burned mine up and won't buy buying more of those to try it.

A circle punched out of a refrigerator magnet can be stacked to get the 12 g cartridge length set

I have to crank the 12 gram know down something fierce.
I usually stick with Crossman they are available locally in bulk and I have never had an issue with them. As for shimming your 12 gm cap try using felt it does the trick and doesnt scratch.

I have had pretty good results with crossmans. I have used probably close to 1000 of them and have yet to have a dud. They are consistent in length and puncture easily.

Crsooman copperheads are complete crap. Duds all over the place, inconsistent lengths and they absolutely stink. I have no idea what else is in them but they reek. Not to mention the dirt in them that will gum up everything inside your marker.

That's a great idea. I like DSA's felt idea too.

I thought the same thing about Crosmans until this past year. Saw my first dud, then another half dozen in two boxes of 25. I never understood the criticism until I saw it myself.

That said I still pick them up in a pinch since they're so available.
