I'm still down for another run of sr-1's. I know chances are slim, but you've got such a great concept going for specialized play.

I love the Sr1 as it is. But a mag fed attachment or version of it would interest me. Even with the sar 12 being a bolt action mag fed, it would be awesome to have a 4-5 round mag utilizing the cartridges for the sr1.

You guys are missing the point of why he built the SR-1
My first paintball game was last year.
I should know everything there is to know about paintball.
The best marker is the one I use.
I learned everything I need to know about how to fix and run a successful paintball venture from the Internet.

And besides, I'd love to get my hands on one, and THEN I can internalize the point of why CCM designed and built the SR-1!

The First R&D had a MAG. Just did not work without a different drivetrain.
So I think it got put aside to get working markers out the door.

Lohman446 -I have absolutely zero interest in "saving" your "sport". Your "sport" has destroyed my game.
cjottawa -Know what would make paintball affordable and get more people involved? SHOOTING LESS.

It's All In The Reflexes.
Making it mag fed would up the cost of not just the base marker but in your soft gear load out as well.
Right now all I need to use the SR-1 is a pouch to hold FSRs and 12 grams in.
If you make it mag fed you need to have a vest/belt of some sort to hold all your mags in. Not to mention the cost of the mags which would be at the cheapest $20 a piece. (going by Hammer 7 mag prices. So were talking $30+ for CCM to make them)
Leave it the way it is. Trust us on this.
