Took mine out back for a quick efficiency test. .679 shell insert with about the same size paint, 68*, I don't know the humidity, no chrony. I'll do that later. I'm pulling 27 shots before it degasses. Works for me

I'll find my chrony and put some numbers out eventually. I know you've all done this already. I just want my own test

Can't wait to run FSR through it

I don't know why I never noticed it before but Bill, the shell inserts are probably the coolest bore sizing piece I've ever seen.

It does add some realism to it.

Agreed, I honestly cant understand why anyone would lock a shell in the barrel and breech load. Its fun, but not as fun as breech loading shells. If you all will notice Carmatech has now offered a "builder version" of the SAR12. I cant help but think they ran across an SR-1 thread or read my review and thought wow that is a good idea.

I guess the FSR would have to pass as the shell then

I haven't kept up with the carmatech stuff much, but that rifle looks huge. I'm sort of a medium build and the SR-1 fits my size. Especially since it has the adjustable stock. I like it tight when I'm moving.

Talk to us about the sound signature of that muzzle break. I had purchased one for my SR1 but found the pop turned into a "POP" similar to the effects of a loudener. Because I didn't want to drop coin and fail again I am on the wait n see when it comes to finishing off my barrel.

The porting on the barrel really made it quieter.

The muzzle break like that is on my is for looks.

If you had an extension that was just porting that might work.

The can that Trinity has on his barrel works.
