I stopped following the sr1 thread a while back for a few reasons.. but still like to know.. is the mag functional or cosmetic? I don't see any pictures with them off the marker

It's cosmetic, but it holds the CO2 changer and a regulator, as well as a remote nipple, IIRC.

Can u mount a 45 grip from a phantom on these to use a normal paintball stock?

I can't imagine aimin with ur mask against the stock

Yes you can I've been back and forth with the PSG grip and my phantom 45 with smart parts wood grips. And I personally like feel of the wood one.
