BOG looking very cool, different but cool. I guess what makes the SR-1 such a marketable platform is the customization aspect of personalizing it. Get tired of it? Nah just find new furniture, very nice indeed.

The front is an ATI carbine freefloat Advanced Technology AR-15 Carbine Free Float Forend FREE S&H A.5.10.1140, A.5.10.1141. Advanced Technology Riflescope Mounts, Rings & Bases. 72 bucks I am going to set it up with an spr style unitizing rail from reciever to the handrail. I may also slope this rail... |

Well it seems like a lifetime ago that I finally received my SR-1. If I could give any would be SR-1 buyer some advice get your goodies up front. It has honestly been a very long wait getting the parts piece by piece and it kinda steals the thunder of getting out on the field day 1.  However that being said, this build has been one of the best times my son and I have had in a while. It has brought us hours of hang time visiting local gun shops and such. I guess when your best bud turns 17, gets a girl friend and begins his journey dear ole dad gets to play second fiddle, thats the way of things. All I can say is thank you for the time..... Now that the build is just about done its time to get some real testing done. We are still waiting on glass so in the mean time we through on this old EoTech copy, works real nice save the battery life. I do like the big window but I think we need to iPhone or Scope it. Without further a-du I give you the violent, yet elegant SR-1 Zombie Hunter.  Nothing like a belt of 7.62 tracers on some CCM goodness.  What we loved about the Daniels Defense CQB FF handguard was the fact that it accentuated the beautifully fluted barrel....Simply breath taking.  We also went with the TA FSR 2.0 for the lightness and the fact that it looks as mean as it works. We removed the rails to reduce a bit more weight.  Thus far our SR-1 is what we dreamed it would be from the first time we started following the thread. CCM, Thanks for the super fun build and some unintentional father and son time.
