CCM S6 farting

So I relubed the reg and all that stuff, but to get a piece out I had to take out the pressure adjustment screw. Once I finished up and screwed the pressure adjustment screw in to around where I thought it was I aired it up and dry fired it a couple times, leading to some pretty obvious farting.

Is it related to the reg not being sweetspotted or what?

The reg pressure might be low, especially if it wasn't farting previously and you haven't changed any springs.

Set reg screw in flush.. 2 turns in from flush. Should be close to 300psi input.. try thst

I use a CP reg, so I'm pretty sure it's different than the CCM reg.

I already know all about the tuning, I have to adjust pretty much everything since it wasn't that tuned when I got it.

I tried a CP low pressure reg on mine, but it wouldn't put out enough psi. Make sure your reg is putting out at least 300.

Cp regs are about three turns out from flush for 300 psi.

flush is all the way in or all the way out? I've always thought it was out

Manners count.

Flush is when the adjustment screw or IVG is flush with the bottom of the reg or the back of the body.

Thanks, I'll get it about three turns in then whenever I can get to a field in the spring I'll sweetspot it all the way then.

Don't change the reg. CCM regs are great. Test the reg and make sure it is at about 300 PSI.

Put your IVG in about two turn in - and turn up the reg until farting stops - that usually does it.

Invest in building a reg tester.
