Drilling out a Guide Arm

Is it worth it?

My T2 is here at the shop (solvent bath and quick polish)

Figured I'd ask..... Is it worth drilling out the guide arm?

save a tiny bit of weight, gain a little volume, but is it really worth the 15min of effort?

Be more worried about ruining it or making it more liable to bend for like a cubic cm of volume

I would have to bend EVERYTHING to bend it...

2 Pump Arms
1 Guide Arm
Barrel

im gonna have other problems if it were to bend....

and i'll get more than a cubic cm.... im thinkin like .250 x 3" (well OAL-.500) and a bigger bore behind the threads

I think TF did it, either to a T2 or S6. He really didn't find that it did much for performance. He had a thread somewhere..........

Well I've seen people break pump arms on numerous occasion so a guide isn't much of a stretch

i've bent a barrel tip before, but it was a CP tip, and the oring goove is where it bent (where its only like .030" wall aluminum) and i hit the ground pretty freakin hard

I did it - worth it on the T2 in my opinion.

No other marker. My T2 still is set up this way.
