The result is no farting when you take your hand off of the pump handle (as experienced on proto-type models) with a drop of FPS of only 5-10. The reg pressure was able to be dropped from 350 (on the prototypes) to 275 for the production models.

yea you should never hold the pump forward if you want maximum quiet... allowing the bolt to kick back that tiny bit makes a big difference in noise with snipers, and it looks cool ![]() (also if it's tuned perfectly there shouldn't be any considerable velocity drop, 5-10 fps is okay) |

What I realized through my tear down and session with Rod today is that this really is a different take on a pump marker. It sounds a little 'chuffy' if it were a sniper - but this is not your momma's sniper. The hammer is completely unattached from the bolt. The valve sleeve is very different - the back is sealed - the IVG is gone (or placed in the hammer rather) the reg is rethought (there is no reg piston for instance) and other changes. I think the important thing here is to NOT compare this to a SNiper or CCM Series Marker of other makes - this is a different beast. Very cool - I am deeply impressed with the engineering and changes that went into this - marker - and how it was tweaked post production. VERY impressed. It may not be for everyone - but I think people who see one, see how only a few allen keys take it apart - and how it all fits back together - how the timing cannot be off once set - how the reg is treated as a 'set it and forget it' item now - it really is DIFFERENT. Videos, manuals, and reviews to come people. TF |
