There is a set screw that must be accessed through the IVG. Move the hammer back exposing the "wing" or what appears to be the sear at the tip of the small guide rod that sticks out of the hammer. Get a dowel or use the back of the bolt to do this. The allen wrench to use is the same size used for the set screw to prevent the red valve jam nut from moving on a 6.5, S6, or T2. Turn it a couple turns to the left. Find a needle nose plier and gently wiggle the wing out. The hammer will drop out easy once this is removed. Hope this helps. Good luck.

The SR1 uses the same reg internals as the J12.

So while they are not interchangeable, with a little modification, the J12 reg can be made to fit right?

For those that want a more slimline rifle look instead of the assault rifle look.

I was thinking the same thing.

for those wondering how the AT works: the taper on the hammer cocking-rod engages that roller in the top of the trigger frame, which operates the AT functionality. It's a very nice, simple, and reliable design, and like everything in the J12s design keeps it all internal and unexposed (I like this).

Thing I noticed which was curious: the valve cupseal diameter looks, kinda small doesn't it? strange that it should sweet-spot around 275, it must be a very high-flowing valve guide design.

edit: now I'm curious, has anyone done a conventional sweet-spotting yet and tested the reg after? the size of that cupseal to me, suggests it should actually sweetspot much higher than that.

it's a very functional and simple design too. I hope once people get to understand it they will understand why I decided not to keep building Falcons after getting a closer look at the J12... it totally fulfils the improvements we've been needing in a high end open class pump gun for todays market (and CCM is only the finest and best servicing manufacture out there).
