Dave I should just preorder a j12 through you, so much money saved from cocker valve tool, spring kit, options that are standard on the j12, no slot blocker, ect.

May just need to dish out the full price for one instead of saving at 15% in February

Just remembered TF saying this is mainly a noob pump marker, not really tinkerer friendly. Which is totally ok with me since I do throw my 98c and keep it there unmaintained and pop it out when my electro goes down (stupid mini and your blowback problems that I can't fix by replacing every seal, and going back to stock parts)

I have to admit that I'm guilty of doing a little tinkering. Which Rod and Seudog do not recommend BTW!!!

90% ofr the problems I see tech ing people's ccms are that they adjusted or tinkered with it. I always set it back to stock and it magically works

I would have to agree. I take into consideration the manufactures specs/design before changing anything. And the only reason I would try to change something is to suit my personal playing style.

So messed with the return spring a bit.
Pulled it out and found this.

Bottom one is J12 and the top one is standard. Not sure if it's shortened on purpose or something happened. Anywho, double stack is far too much tension for my taste on the J12, but the standard length is just bliss.

Mine is clipped - Rod said he shortens them - he may have been condensing them at first.
