Price check 86 degree slider frame
Hey whats up guys. I have a polished black 86 degree slider that is missing the CCM jewel. Cosmetically the frame is about an 8/10 and functions 100% perfect. It comes with the attached beaver tail.
Im thinking about downgrading (in some peoples opinion) to a dye single or double hinge frame because im not a huge fan of the recessed screw in the rear of the slider.
I know these 86 degree sliders are pretty rare and im just curious to see what the honest appraisal on one would be (you might see it in the BST section soon lol)
Here's a pic of the frame on my S5
P.S i wanst really sure where to post this so this was my best guess. Sorry if this doesnt belong

I think on the rare occasion they come up for sale they've been bringing upwards of $150. The last one I saw sell had an asking price of $175 and went within a day or two. I don't know what it actually sold for, but it was probably at or close to asking price to go that quickly.
If you'd like I can PM you a link to the BST thread if I can find it.

If it has a few small blemishes i would say $140-150 is a fair price, not cheap but fair. I paid $150 for one with the jewels still and a couple very small blemishes and was pleased. They are fairly rare and not many are on the market ever so if priced fairly they usually sell pretty quick. Tax time is coming up so it will be buying season soon too.
I would keep it personally, they look fantastic and perform nicely, and it its already on the marker and working i would leave it be. It will add a good deal of resale value to your S5, but if it is not comfortable for you it could be beneficial to swap it. I would only change it if it was not comfortable, i do like the 86 frames but prefer 45's.
