Feedneck fit issue
 

I just bought a few parts for my Black magic with a sto threaded feed. The no-pro feedneck I got for it and it only threads on 3/4 of a turn. I compared it to the stock feedneck and it looks like it is the correct threading, So i was thinking that maybe the annodizing made it a little bit thicker and now the threads are tight? I looked at the threads on the body of my gun and they all look to be in beautiful condition so anno tolerances was all that I could come up with.

Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this other than sending it back right away? I was thinking of taking some super fine steel wool and gently rubbing the inside of the feedneck but I don't want to damage it.

Does hard coat annodizing add any material to the metal? Because both of the items are annodized black, and when I begin to screw the feed neck on it feels like its just a tight fit that just stops. It appears to have the correct threading, the threads may just need to be loosened up slightly.

But, if its not what i think it is, How would I be able to tell which item has the wrong threading? Or would I even be able to?

Tomorrow morning when there is some better light I will check things out. I have a few other autococker bodies i could try the feedneck on and see if it works, my hands are just too weak to twist them off after my surgery.

Are these the older BM bodies? If so, some of those bodies feed ports weren't threaded deep enough. I find it weird in that I use to recommend CCM feednecks as a solution. They seem to be the only ones that would work when I came across this problem.
