Tight or loose?
I am curious as to how the pump arm should be set up on a S6. I have a tendency to loosen it a bit (coming from Phantoms, a tight pump arm binds) at both ends. This does mean, however, that the AT screw can rotate if you press on it.
I have noticed that if I screw the pump arm solidly into the handle plate it tends to rub the inside of the channel of the body.
What is the best way to set it up? Some slack and add a washer or o-ring under the AT screw?

I put mine in the pump plate tight, even with some loctite (they come loctited with red mostly up front) and in the backblock i put it in so it hides most of the threads but not locked in tight.

Ya, loose is a bad sign.... Object may be over used or worn out, I was gonna say call Mel but I think she'll redirect you to love line with Dr Phil.

Also, if you have one of the earlier models, the A/T screw is locktited in place.
